Lots and lots of shooting in Joe Budd where I was set up, but I only saw 2 birds downed. I suspect there were individual birds flying along a line of poor shots. Ha! I never fired a shot. Nothing flew near me. Bummer. Maybe next phase.

We got to fire some shots out here in Midway. For opening day the birds were flying high and fast, def. not what we expected but we managed to recover 18 of 21 birds downed.

Leon County = 2 hail mary shots, 0 birds. Total for the field with 9 guys was 4.

Went to Joe Budd Sat. The beautiful blue sky was not marred by the appearance of any grey ghosts. I was in the Rock Field. Heard that all of 6 birds were taken in the Hay field.

Joe Budd was a bust. Lots of shots (none by me) but I only saw a few birds fly. I think there were a lot of poor shots on the other side of the field where I was. Bummer. Maybe the second phase.
