Well, I between the Cabo 30PTs or the 4000 series Stradic. I like the features of the Cabo but I'm more impressed with the weight of the Stradic.
I'm gonna build another rod in the near future, so I may get one of each and try them on both rods.
Anybody in the market for either some slightly used rods or well maintained Penns?

save your money and get a quantum incyte. theyre about 50 bucks and i love mine. its almost 3 yrs old now and it still feels and sounds like new. im not overly nice to my reels either. it handles braid well and its drag is silk. incyte is the reel jut below the pt series and has all the features in a graphite frame. 11 bearings two spools etc. and the graphite never flexs cause its a slimline type frame.
best reel for the money i ever got.
course..... its not a stella..........

I was looking at the Stellas in Bass Pro shops mag and when my wife saw how much they were, she told me that if I didn't turn the page and come to my senses she would beat it into me.

I've got two of the older Mega-Lites. They had problems with the anti-reverse gear - they were made with cheap metal parts that corroded easily. I was able to get anti-reverse replacement parts for both the Mega-Lites I own and have had no problems since. I've used them for 4-5 years now in freshwater only. The drag is excellent.
