Pirate, you have plenty of info so get them decals changed. I removed my old ones yesterday and the blow dryer trick worked great. I noticed that a raised impression was left behind and from your replies it is just the very old adhesive. I will try the WD first and the M1 if needed. Tell your folks hello.

i've heard of the wd40 attractant as well, that is so bizarre. who in the hell was the first guy to try that??????i just dont get it...so some old timer one day decided to spray some wd40 on his bait, and in-turn caught fish? lol. aww whata sport. if anyone knows some history on this please speak up. :lol: //////about the decals, i think you have to be careful with what you rub it out with. my buddy took off his alumicraft decals and he used some citrus concentrate, it left obviouse rubbing swirls on the boat....dont use anything with acids is all i can gather. maybe wd40 catches fish and removes adhesive. good stuff. :D

my granddad used to spray wd40 on his knees. Said it helped his stiff joints.
