GO GET SOME CHEM TOOL AT THE CAR SHOP, CRANK IT UP AND INCREASE SPEED TILL IT STARTS SPUTTERING, AT THIS POINT SQUIRT A LITTLE CHEM TOOL DIRECTLY INTO THE CARB. THROAT, DO THIS SEVERAL TIMES. IF IT IS GUM IN THE HIGH SPEED JET THIS WILL CLEAN IT OUT AND SHE SHOULD RUN GREAT. I HAD THIS SAME PROB. WITH A ENGINE LIKE YOURS THA T BELONGED TO A FRIEND OF MINE. WE SHOT CHEM TOOL IN FOR ABOUT 30 MIN. AND THEN GAVE IT A STRONG SHOT OF CHEM TOOL AND SHUT IT DOWN OVER NIGHT. THE NEXT MORNING SHE STARTED RIGHT UP AND HAS RUN STRONG EVER SINCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE CRANK YOUR ENGINES UP AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH AND LET IT RUN SEVERAL MIN. WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THE ENGINE ON THE WATER.

When you took the bowl off you should have seen the float, and a metal tube sticking down through the float that goes to the bottom of the bowl. The high speed jet is screwed into the bottom of that tube. If the jet is partially blocked, the only way to clean it is to run a small piece if wire, or a needle through it. If it runs better after you took the bowl off, take the bowl back off, remove the pin holding the float, and remove the float needle valve. If there is a piece of trash under the needle valve, the motor will outrun the fuel flow and empty the bowl. After sitting a minute, the bowl will fill back up, and it will run, until it outruns the fuel flow again.

Nothing worked I am taking it back to the original owner Friday and get my $200 back. It is a cool little motor, I wish I could have made it work. Thanks for all of your advice.
