I could be wrong, but I think it's like the third creek east of the St. Marks Ligthouse, just before Stoney Bayou. I fished up in there a couple times several years ago, but never caught anything that made me want to go back in there. I think the point was the rocks start just to the east of that.
Is this the "rock garden"?
You could say that its the very beginning of it

I have no idea how folks know the names of all the rocks and creeks. I don't see them on my charts.

Intimate knowledge of rocks comes from many a dollar spent from fixing stuff.

ha ha... i was hoping you wouldn't say that! I have found some, but I've come up with my own names for those rocks... probably not appropriate to share on a family site.

Lordsfisher,
I would suggest you learn Black Rock, Peter's Rock, Cobb Rocks, and Grey Mare. They will help with navigation when your out there and it will make some of these reports make more sense. A lot of people use them as "markers" when they're reporting. They're all listed on most charts/maps I've seen. As far as all the other rocks go, you'll run out of names before you run out of rocks.

Thanks Eerman.... good advice because I've seen all those names and vaguely know where they are.

The absolute best advice I know is ballz up, hammer down. Just run man. You hit a rock, troll back to the truck and put a limit in the boat on the way!!!
