Wraps are pretty tacky if not done right. We had a wrap for 6 months on a boat in 2006 when we fished the LCRA series. It was not east to get off and it ore pretty easy when bumped. I wouldn't do it if there is a possibility of bumping a dock, and anchor chain or another boat. Just get youself some tshirts made. And I too think it takesaway from a boat and that is my .02 cents cuz!

BAD BEHAVIOR wrote:Im thinking of getting my Maverick Wrapped. I have a friend who does boat wraps here in Adel and he's got a pretty good price I think. Im trying to find graphics to help him design the wrap for my 17MA. Anyone have any ideas?? Im gonna have several logos built into the scheme including Badcock & More, SGO, NFGFC, and of course BBF.net. I'm thinking of a redfish background and maybe even JT and TC's mugs pasted on the azz end

(Kinda makes sense, huh??) I cant find a redfish print to use. I havent made up my mind if Im definitely gonna wrap my boat or not. Anyone know if there are any downsides to wrapping a boat,i.e. gelcoat problems?? Just looking for a little info. I get bored too easy

. What should a wrap on a 17 ft boat cost?? Any and all info is appreciated. Websites I havent found would also be appreciated. Thanks guys, BB

Boat looks great as it, maybe change that cheezy lettering on the sides but that's all I would do. It's a classy looking boat already and don't need any help looking good. Just my .25 worth

thanks guys. Im still a bit skeptical. By the way, 600 bucks is what it'll cost me. I was hoping to help from scratching the hull with the wrap because they dont make the 17MA anymore. Guess that idea is out the window!! And this wrap is the marine grade wrap. it had to cure for two weeks before putting her in the water.
