sure, 850~926~2746. They're right on the city limits of Crawfordville. It's a small, family operation, very informal, in a wooden cracker house / barn type building with a wood burning stove inside the middle of the barn, fired up most of the time. From what I've seen they do good work.

They do all upholstery & t-tops & bimini tops too.

Seems like a great guy I called him, any idea what it should cost for a flip flop seat and a seat and back in front of the console.

I thought the guy here in Valdosta was high he was higher.

I admit, I don't know a whole lot about upholstery but I'm getting a flat bench seat cushion "made" ... backing board, cushion, bumpers and all, (mine was trashed and couldn't be saved) and a seat back cushion (which goes on the front of my console) recovered , both in plain white and they're charging me $ 90 bucks + tax. So I didn't think that was too bad. I do know it was cheaper than West Marine or Boaters world for just the cushions with no back boards.

They aren't fancy, just "down home folks" but they're good work from the work I've seen... I can let ya know monday after I pick up my stuff.

Thanks Cowboy, yeah I think the Blue Canoe is pretty good project platform. What am I gonna do ?

* get the heavy oxidation buffed out by someone, I hate buffing & waxing! I enjoy everything else while working on my boat but I hate that chore :smt009
* replace a couple broken hatch latches.
* replace the edge marine trim
* fill a big chip in the keel with marine tex
* replace the seat cushions (being made)
* replace the cooler & floor cooler floor brackets
* replace fuel filter
* add a suicide steering wheel knob (on order)
* repair a hole in the bimini top
* add a vhf radio or get a handle held, not sure which yet ...
* Install gunnel rod holders
* replace the carpet on the bunks
* replace tail lights
* add a spare tire rack on the trailer (on order)
* the motor is a 112 Johnson with a S.S. 4 blade prop that all seems tight & strong, I'll just service it & go .... admitingly it might be abit overpowered :smt077

thats all I can think of off the top of my head ... :smt017

it came with a bimini .... :D

yeah :-D , I know, I know and I agree that it would look lame AND a pain in the rear to step around on the deck but, my thought is this ... I have a 4 year old son that I want to start teaching how to fish and I thought he would just get FRIED out in the sun during the day with nowhere to hide. I have been playin with the idea of a big market / patio umbrella that I could place in a pole holder on the console and stuck it under the gunnel when we're under way.
I don't know what else I can do... ? Yall know anything ?

I've had melanoma spots cut off of me twice, once on my cheek & once on my ear and I don't want my young son to go have to worry about that ...

Well, that makes a lot of sense. Proceed.
