That boat isn't a shallow draft boat anyway so keep 150 and be done with it.
Draft does not matter on that boat. My uncle fishes at Ft.Gaines mainly, not at the flats. You got a good point though. I don't think a true FLATS boat should have anymore than a 115 due to weight. That is my opinion but I dont fish the flats like I used to. My 18ft with a 115 is perfect for shallow water.

Not quite.

But a keg will get you a fishing trip! I just aint trying to make any money off this piece of junk Mercury. I am going to trade it to the marina in Pensacola for some service work I think. It is my uncle's motor but he just wants me to haul it off.
