That $7.00 a week is really gonna change my lifestyle
Republican or Democrat really doesn't matter neither party is willing to listen to the people that voted for them and in my opinion can go catch rats. They are all useless and so far removed from the real world that I'm waiting for one of them to say "Let them eat cake".
Politicians and diapers shopuld be changed regularly and for the same reason. I didn't come up with that but it speaks the truth.

My paycheck is based on commissions if it is larger it is because I worked harder, I pay more per year than many that do work earn and do not agree that people that could work and don't should get to spend money I worked for on beer, pot and lottery tickets. I don't care who you vote for wrong is universal and goes beyond politics. We got sold a bill of goods on the bail out. No one I know has seen a positive effect IRA's are still cut in half jobs are declining, homlessness increases daily. What do you do for a living that you are immune to what is happening? Does your paycheck come from the gobermint (the folks that just print more if were a little short)?

Hey, lets start a movenemt for ALL politicians ta take a 10% cut in pay  that will give the government more money ta spend and show the citizens who elected them that they really care :smt004 but I bet that instead of that, they will just let their AUTOMATIC cost of living increase go into affect :smt011

This is another reason why they are trying to regulate then confiscate our guns.
The government knows this country is due for a change and not the kind our "President" promised us.
Tea Parties are good.

What a Mess, what a novel idea! So let me make sure I'm getting this right... you get to eat what you kill so to speak? :smt115

There you go... very likely why so many fishermen/hunters on this board are able to appreciate the simple value of living off labor, versus looking for handouts.

Tennessee, I'm with What a Mess -- my wife and I run a small business so if we don't work we won't see the HUGE $7 check of which you speak and to the contrary risk losing our livelihood. On the other hand, because we work hard, make sacrifices, and both are burning the midnight oil doing work at night and on the weekends in addition to our "regular" office work hours, we're sure beating $7 a week in growth (versus where we were when we worked for others).

Which brings up another sign I loved and forgot to mention, "Spread my work ethic, not my wealth!"

And one last comment - Dick Armey? That's some conspiracy theory right there! AGAIN, let me stress the Tallahassee Tea Party did NOT feel like it was honoring ANY party, and was as spontaneous of a meeting as I've EVER attended. If it was organized by anyone they sure are weak organizers as every single person seemed to be showing up on their own with only an eagerness to meet others feeling that it's time not for new CHANGE, but instead a return to fiscal values that were lost long before Bush or Obama took the oath. I CAN tell you who motivated me to attend, and it sure wasn't Dick Armey. Try Rick Santelli, and it wasn't a formal invitation as much as a rant that RANG of more truth than I had heard in years.

And while not confining my anger to one politician/party, can't help that I laughed out loud at this one too ;-)

"PLEASE, PLEASE don't tell Obama what comes after a trillion!" :smt005

Can I have back my last post that disappeared? It was very serious! I don't see this forum pandering to nor censoring for liberals. I know this is a fishing forum but our individual values and beliefs
ultimately give us appreciation for the sport and the vast majority of other forum contributors. Anyone wanting to challenge that take your best shot and hang on!

Yes, give anyone and everyone their post back . If they are not retrievable let them re-post.
The OFF TOPIC should not be censored or deleted. That is why it is the OFF TOPIC.
I personally disagree with some of the post on this subject.
I personally agree with many of the post on this topic.
The unfortunate part of the request I am making is that within 2 days all this will wilt away.
That is what makes me so sad.
If everyone that feels so strongly about the injustice our government is imposing on us would continue to speak out, we may be able to return to a life that the hard working people have created.
We are in this situation because of the ELECTED OFFICIALS that are supposed to vote FOR THE PEOPLE that elected them. They are only voting for the betterment of themselves and their immediate cronies.
The simplest way to impose a fair tax to run this country is a federal sales tax. Not a personal income tax that "uncreates" all men equal.
A federal income tax would "ALMOST" insure that every dollar spent was taxed.
Next election vote out every incumbent regardless of party and send a messge.
If that does not get attention do it again the election after, and again and again until they get the message..
The message is; GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. NOT government for the minority by the minority.

I'm sure my opinion means not but ill throw it out there anyway.. I belong to another forum but it is dedicated to boating and no restrictions towards politics.. It is infested with politics to the point were there are 7 political posts for every 10 boat posts.. I go there click view new posts and have to read through this crap.. I'm a republican but they constantly have racist comments and things that don't belong to a boating forum and I sometimes feel uncomfortable for reading it at work.. on the other hand I belong to another boating forum and politics are not allowed(at all) It is kind of annoying if a conversation goes that way but I find that forum much more enjoyable.. I personally hate politics and try to avoid it most of the time.. I don't like the way things are going but I doubt pissing and moaning about it on a fishing forum will sway anything one way or the other.. I enjoyed the pictures and think they are great...

Here here! If you think the government is going to help save our hunting and fishing traditions, then I ask you to look and see all they have done over the last 20 years. The gooberment is clueless.

Procraft: "I feel uncomfortable reading it at work"
Procraft, Maybe its just me but I feel uncomfortable reading ALL posts on this forum WHILE AT WORK. Perhaps the economic struggles are a direct result from the loss of productivity. This falls on the shoulders of Chalk and Tom. :smt005 I feel like an addict almost every day. Regardless of content, I think everyone on this forum contributes to my little piece of appreciated sanity. I appreciate all topics of all types.
