Could be but cant blame them for wanting to get people in town and out there helping Hook Wrecks. Lets all fish the tourney and see if we can help out the economy and have a dang good time. Next year the pier will be built and we can see how nice it came out.

Good news, the registration fee will stay the same up through the day of the tournament. Hope to see you there.

More good news, maybe! When Ben Withers Construction Co. picked up the dock and gangway yesterday they told me their plan is to have it installed for the Tournament. Hopefully they make the deadline, it would be nice to be able to use it.

The bottom half of the new ramp is installed and I looked at it yesterday. They hope to pour the upper half today or tomorrow, Monday at the latest. Its a lot longer than the old one and quite a bit deeper. Should work well. Nothing like a trial by fire for a new ramp.

That would be great if it's usable by next weekend!

You don't have to launch from Panacea Ramp, its just one of many ramps to launch from in our area. Its a two day tournament with weigh-ins all the way up to 3 pm on Sunday. You can fish the Team Sea-trout and this one. Great prizes, CASH MONEY! Plus its a great warm up for the Big Bend Fishing Classic in a few weeks. Weather will be great this weekend too. For once!
