Think my being content without one has to do with the service in the USMC where I was issued a few Vietnam era gear items 30 years after that particular conflict and due to lack of tools once used rocks (successfully) as a wrench to loosen bolts on my crews M1A1 tank. When I got my boat I thought the bait tank luxury enough... feared I put a dip net on the boat and next thing you know I'm wanting jelly donuts and ice cream too!

Reel Cowboy, think Keels would have made me go pick you up if you had been at the ramp and were known to have a dip net on you.
