This is the first time RCB has been post Katrina, he says it was never great but now it is much worse, it's the dirtiest/nastiest place he has ever been in, and he's been in some pretty bad places. :smt009

Well, we all saw how the Super Dome looked after 3 days of habitation after Katrina.

They were washing off the sidewalks this morning as we were leaving the hotel.
Nothing like the smell of bleach 1st thing in the morning.

Port of Call is great for hamburgers!! If you like food, try a muffaletta at Central Grocery on Decatur street in the french quarter. Take it from a former New Orleanian, there is no better Italian sandwich in the country than the one at Central Grocery. Don't forget to get your beignet from Morning Call in across from Jackson Square.

Have Fun!! :jester_1
