Thanks for the support, guys. I feel better this morning, but the day is still young. Still pretty sore, and oh my gosh it hurts to cough, laugh or sneeze.

The worst day while I had the hernia was the BBSC awards ceremony, but I think that's because I was standing in one place for so long. Still, had to stay and make sure I didn't win the Contender, again. :-D

Wow! Broke his neck with a sneeze? I've never heard of that before either, but I can see where that might be possible. I would think he would also have to give himself whiplash to do that.

Let me tell you a funny story about Pat McGriff.

We had never met. The night of the captain's meeting for the FCKA Classic the weather was bad and getting worse. Jeff Suber gets up and gives a little talk. Then introduces Capt. Pat McGriff as the guest speaker. I'm standing in the back of the room listening. It suddenly occurs to me that this guy is up there telling everybody in the room almost exactly what I planned on doing the next day in that sloppy weather. Big noisy topwaters, bright colors with a lot of contrast, fishing points, the whole bit. The only two things he didn't tell the whole room was spinnerbaits, and where I was specifically going.

He gave a good talk that night, but I think he dissapointed the folks who had planned on using Gulp with a popping cork.
