I will be Brian's least hungover friend! Boo's still not 100% and can't fish. (Will he lose his canine angler of the year trophy!?!) I'm pretty certain we've got someone to watch over him at the Cape while we're fishing the tourney.

Is there anywhere on the business side of the giant no wake zone in the allowable launch zone? I'd like to fish it and pretty sure the wife wants to come, but I think Mojo is out and I got an ignition coil on my boat that's not kicking in till about 1500-1700 RPM so my boat's not getting real far without stalling or making a wake. I can't get the new part here and installed before the tournament, so just wondering what the launch options are. Is Lanark ruled out? That's where we and several others launched last year, but that's not on the river. Any suggestions appreciated.

There is a new city ramp on the east side of the river near Wicked Willy. It is straight across from the Timber Island ramp. Either ramp, at 7 a.m. we won't tell if you have to make a wake.
The law reads that you can go as fast as necessary to keep your vessel under control.

Thanks JT - we'll probably be there. I know the 'maintain steerage' law, but I think somewhere in the fine print it says I'll get 5 tickets and have to argue about them later, and it's probably against at least 3 additional laws to have a partially working coil on one cylinder.
