I'd post on craigs list as well for as many FLA/AL/MS/LA towns you could. maybe microskiff dot com as well. Sad to say but it may be on a boat to the Bahamas by now or Mexico

Yep, as the man himself said on the first page.
Any news on it? I hope they catch the folks that stole her and give you an hour or so alone with them.

No word, at this point it's probably not going to be found. I'd still like to find who did it though, which is unlikely. All LCSO could do was put the boat and trailer info in their computer. I'm just glad I didn't skimp on the insurance, I guess I'm about to find out how progressive is to deal with.

Your former job experience might have put you in a high risk category.

Man that sucks!
I have Progressive too, although I've never had to use it. I have heard that they are one of the best companies to deal with in situations like this.
I know it must have seemed like forever waiting on that boat to be built, and it's really gotta hurt now that it's gone. Even if the insurance pony's up and pays for everything, it's still a pain in the @$$ to have another one ordered and to have to wait on it to be finished.
Look on the bright side, if there was anything you didn't like about your new boat after having used it for a while, this may be the perfect oppurtunity to have it built differently.
Maybe you'll get lucky and the people who stole it are stupid enough to try and use it locally. Wouldn't you love to be sitting at the ramp when they got back?

Hey Salty, Sorry about the boat and the Tigers. We'll get Bama back for ya next weekend. I have Progressive and they were top notch with my lower unit replacement. They said get two estimates and I did. They asked me which shop i prefered and it was the one with the higher estimate and they paid it. no questions asked. Good luck buddy. We'll keep an eye out north ofthe border for ya!

You might want to alert the authorities across our northern border. From what I understand you don't need a title to register a boat in Georgia? With a valid registration from another state it is an easy thing to apply for a title in Florida or any other state that it may be taken to.
I hope your boat is recovered in unharmed condition soon.

Thanks BB, I'll be pulling hard for the Gators on Sat. So far so good with Progressive. I had the best coverage they offered, so when all is said and done I'll only be out a few hundred dollars. It doesn't ease the emotional pain/anger of having something like that stolen from you, but at least I'm not taking a big hit financially.
