The Wakulla is pretty shallow at the mouth. I've caught trout up as far as Shell Island, but not much further up the river. You can catch Trout in the St. Marks from the mouth all the way past Stricklands landing. That's a lot of water, with lots of deep holes that hold fish. Your depth finder is the key during this time. You have to locate them before you fish. Blind fishing is out. A trolling motor also is a valuable tool. Not a must, but sure makes life easier when fishing the river.

If the Wakulla River stays a constant 72 year round, you should not have to locate deep holes, just blind cast here and there. No trollin motor here. So is there a chart that shows the depths of the river like the Gulf.

The Wakulla starts out at the spring a constant 72 degrees, but by the time it reaches the Old Fort, that 72 turns to 55 to 65 average in winter.
I believe it gets cold faster than the St. Marks because it's mostly clear shallow water.
I'm sure there are charts ds, I've just never seen one.
