I don't know how many folks you all had last year, but if the registration number I saw this evening includes last year's registrants, then folks need to get to signing up asap. I'm sure a lot of folks are waiting to see what the weather is going to look like, etc, but this year it's more than just being about the weather and catching fish, it's also about letting folks know that our neck of the woods is still alive and kicking...........

We had 875 anglers last year. Folks will show up. I made the online registration so easy, folks wait until the last minute to do it.

Hopefully we'll be at 1000 shortly. We need to beat last years 875 so everyone register now.

Governor Crist has extended the free fishing in Florida through Father's Day weekend. Residents and visitors do not need a license to fish. So come to the coast and fish in the Best tournament in the region.

Joyce Durham from Franklin County Emergency Management says that Indian Pass, Bob Sykes Cut and West Pass WILL NOT BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND!! If they get approval from the Corp of Engineers, they will enact it Monday.

Also, FWS (the company putting out the boom) knows about the tournament and will not have any operations working this weekend that will interfere with the tournament or the ramps our anglers may use.

See you in Carrabelle, Panacea or Port St. Joe.

Just a few more hours to get registered. Don't wait until the last minute. Weather looks great.

I just saw a 5.50 lb. trout weighed in at PSJ. The guy who caught it is the same one that caught the 7.81 lb. trout in the Presnell's tourney. He says he missed one that size today as well.

Nice. BTW, it's nice to see the weights kept electronically. We fished out of Carrabelle and my daughter weighed a fish over there. A few hours later we were headed back to C'ville and stopped by Panacea to see if the fish was still holding a place and they were able to easily pull it up. Good stuff.
