Now, he did come really close to my ACORN sign. Speaking of which, the local ACORN rep would like to make a presentation at the next NFGFC meeting, if that's cool.

Seriously though, one day I'm gonna move to where lawns don't matter much. Anyone know a quality realtor in South Ga. that could sell me the farm?

As always, thanks all for the wisdom. The common theme was "keep the peace", and I tend to agree.

I can only assume that promised HOPE AND CHANGE is not working out too well for you!
When you get that Obama sign out and burn it in the front yard I'll concede your're probably making some headway in escaping the grasps of liberalism hell! :smt005

As for ACORN, there should be open season and a hefty bounty on those idiots!

I would pull a string along the property line and then speak with the widower. Explain why the string is there and try your best to not come across as being mean or anything. If she's a good person, she will understand the hard work you have put into your lawn. If she getts upset with you about it, then explain to the SIL that if the grass dies, HE can be held responsible for the replacment :-D :smt004

I would simply put stakes in the ground along the property line like a surveyor would do. Leave them up for a month or two and see if the point is taken.
