I have had very little luck with live shrimp "the few times I've tried them", lures and jigs have always produced better for me

Four inch SK curly tail "fools gold" jig on a 1/2 once pink jig head.

Slow grubs. Color? I stick to pearl/red tail but I don't think it matters a whole lot. I'm really liking the 1/16 oz Capt Mike (Flats Candy) jigs. They're real light w/ big heavy hooks. They're easy to fish real slow & deep. I have a tougher time keeping heavier jigs in the zone. That's what I was doing Friday when I did real well on trout and reds in Spring Creek. I'll try to post a report (busy).
