Another PolarBear vote. Will hold ice for a couple days if you don't get into it often. Very durable, too.
Soft-sided coolers, sunglasses, etc. You get what you pay for in most circumstances.

Buy a Hobie Pro Angler. It has a built in cooler in the front

I bought one of the "fancy fish bags" that you clip to your kayak. Ilike it because it mounts out of the way up front, so I have more room for tackle, etc. I think I got it for around 50 bucks. I've never had more than 3 or 4 fish in it, but it's always kept my catch cool. It has a removeable liner, so that you can keep your bottle of water seperate from the fish, and it washes easily. In my opinion, if your going to spend 50 bucks on a cooler, you might as well get one designed for kayak fishing.

This morning I stopped @ WalMart and bought an insulated cooler bag that velcros closed @ the top. $2.00. Kept ice all morning and by lunch time had a nice ice slushy going. ANd it still smells new, didnt catch a thing!
