Third year is a pain mainly because you're ready to get the he** out of there and the whole interview/recruiting process takes a lot of time.
I can attest that this description of the third of law school (esp. the last semester of the third year) remains wholly accurate.

And, don't worry, the bar exam is a piece of cake! Everybody passes it, well, almost everybody.
