The wife and I are planning on fishing this tournament (our first with NFGFC) and was wondering if we sign up Friday evening at the cook-out, do we need to check in with tournament director Saturday before heading out?

Wait for safe light? No problem! We have a rental house and I can pretty much guarantee you it will be safe light before the wife gets out of bed!! hahahaha

Friday: SE wind 7 to 11 kt becoming SSW in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.
Friday Night: SSW wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.
Saturday: ESE wind 7 to 12 kt becoming SSW in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: SE wind 5 to 9 kt becoming W in the afternoon. Isolated showers after 1pm. Areas of fog before 9am. Seas 1 ft or less.
Friday Night: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NNE 5 to 9 kt after midnight. Isolated showers before 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.
Saturday: ENE wind 10 to 13 kt. A slight chance of rain after 1pm. Seas around 1 ft.

Today: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SW 5 to 7 kt in the morning. A chance of rain after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.
Tonight: W wind 5 to 10 kt becoming NE after midnight. A chance of rain, mainly before 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.
Saturday: ENE wind 8 to 10 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Partly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.
