Where are you getting that report JT?

The report I use is NOAA Coastal Forecast(INSHORE).
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... it=0&lg=en
If you ZOOM in on the map on the lower right side you will see the pinpoint icon I used at Rock Island. I figure this a half way point for most boats fishing East.
You can move your cursor anywhere on the map and CLICK. The forecast will change for the area you click on.

Folks, he is using this link
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... mx=1&zmy=1
If you click anywhere on the red shaded area the forecast will change. It ALWAYS seems to knock off about 15 kts of wind speed and usually says 1 foot or less for wave height.

We arrived at alligator point at 7:00. Nice and flat. And at midnight, the wind started howling. I'm not sure how fast it is blowing, but he palm trees are bent over. I figured since I couldn't fish the rts due to it being my anniversary, the weather would be perfect. Oh well. See y'all on the water tomorrow anyway. Good luck to all in the tourney. Be safe

I like the noaa forecast site too.

The synopsis dials in the forecast.
Last Sat started out with scw's and the forecast wasn't that great, but the synopsis said things were actually laying down.
Flat as a parking lot by the time we made it out.
