Thanks for the report BBG.
My catching has been slowing down the past couple trips too, but my seein' is still way up there.
Seen more giant tigers this year than ever. Having more break-offs too
It's cool how the average days out there are still mind-blowing.

Bman, can't believe I forgot to share a pic of my "trophy" catch o' the day! Lots of blood & guts went into catching this bad boy!

Seemingly 1,000 in the area but this one was the only hungry/brave enough to pick at a chum bag we threw out. Just for kicks & giggles threw a bit of guts on the end of a spoon with predictable results.

Amen, Woopty. Almost never have a trip out, regardless how slow the fishing, that I'm not amazed at the sights the creator shares.  :smt045

BBG,

Sorry about the escape. That was a pig. As successful as you are with the cobia I look forward to you putting a pic of that guy's big brother up in a few weeks. Happy hunting.

BBG-

In the very last picture with the small cobia I see a rodholder that looks like it is attached with two big suction cups. Is that correct? If so, where did find that?

Thanks in advance.

Catchin Zees, got two of them from Costco some time back when they had a special and I had fairly large gift certificates. Sharing an amazon link below. Quite pricey but sure convenient. And when locked they can take a strike heavy enough to break the rods, before the suction breaks free. That shared, learned this last trip out to be careful how I store them as both had indentions from being poorly stowed against other hardware in one of my hatches and the dents kept them from sticking as well as in the past. Left them out in the sun to warm up the last few days and the dents have now worked themselves out. They come with caps for storing so will be using as intended from now on. :-)
