Just got a phone call from a friend heading back from St. Teresa who tells me there's a mandatory evacuation for Alligator Point, St. George, and other parts of Franklin county. Hope anyone in that area gets north safe.

+1 We just got back from SGI. Mandatory evac. + short vacation was not in our plans.

Talked to the folks at the Rock Landing Marina in Panacea

Thankfully my boat is fine... water running through the boat barn but not more than a couple of inches.
All the boats in the yard are ok.

But...
Their floating docks were torn away, part of the seawall is down and damage to a lot of the docks.
So far the only boat causality is that catamaran at the end of the dock

Owner came to secure it but his ropes kept breaking... got hammered against the dock and it sunk.
Deck board around the tiki bar are ripping up and the stage may be washed away.
And truckloads of seaweed.

They said probably 2 weeks of cleanup and repairs.
Everyone is ok at that is the most important thing!
