Re: Gulps???
Our cat got a taste of one in my boat last weekend. We came in late so I left the rods in the boat, as you know, you should always take the Gulp off the hook and re-charge in the liquid or it will harden becoming impossible to get off the hook without a knife. SO....I walk outside to get something out of the truck a few hours latter and hear rods banging around in the boat, WTH! Scared the crap out of me, ran to garage to get flashlight, the cat has tried to eat a white 3" Gulp and the hooks buried in it's cheek, rods all tangled, no telling how long it's been hooked thrashing around.
I steady the cat and cut the line, take cat to garage workbench and go to work removing hook before wife and kids figure out whats going on. Get pliers in one hand and writhing cat in other, yank hook out. Cat is relieved as was I. Gulp saved for another trip! Whew!

Where has this thread gone???? Ha!Salty Gator wrote:Im sure no sugar was sprinkled. I've bitten probably hundreds of small pieces of gulps. Usually one that has been used, but occasionally right out of the bag/tub. Never found the taste offensive. And Im sensitive to "fishy" tastes. Strange. Anyone else have any experience with tasting gulps?
