I would be offended too, if I owned a boat that was upside down, and I wasn't gonna get enough out of the sale to pay it off. There are alot of boats for sale, that cannot be bought because of what the payoff is. Do not let this influence your decision to pay more.

AND Bass Pro may list this boat at $15,000, but they will negotiate the price, and as soon as the new year model comes out, they will slash the price.

As for the 60 hp, it depends on what you are trying to do. 1-2 people fishing is fine. Get 4-5 people and gear to go scalloping to over to the island for the day and you'll probably wish it was a 90hp.
