Wevans I have been wondering about that the last day or two. I was in Sams and looked at a couple of tv's but couldn't find the info on the box that told if it would work with a vga hookup on a computer.
I assume by changing the input on the remote I can go from computer to cable tv with no problem. If so this would kill two birds with one swipe of the bank card as the tv in the kitchen is a little bitty 13" screen thing that actually has a built in vhs.

We use an HDMI cable from the computer to the 47" TV in the living room as our media computer and monitor and the dish plugs into another HDMI input for TV. The girl has a 19" TV for her monitor "connected using a VGA cable" in her bed room and we have a 32" TV in our bed room the also serves as a monitor for the laptop "all have wireless mouse/keyboard combos" You can't beat the dual use of the new TV's

Thanks! I'll be hitting Sam's and Walmart this week to see what they have in stock with a vga hookup. The external speaker system I have hooks up through the computer so I guess I don't have to worry about hooking that to the tv.

My daughter prefers her computer speakers over the TV ones "they gots a sub-woofer"
