The best way to keep fish fresh in the fridge is to wrap in plastic place in a plastic container with holes poked in the bottom and fill said container with crushed ice. Place that container inside another container the same as the first. Keeps it real cold with the ice and the melted water drains into the bottom container. Got that from watching Good Eats.
