Lake Talquin, Hall Landing is nice. Just be careful of the stump areas.

lake iamonia def has a good area to tube...however, I wouldn't as much put my feet in that water...just went today and saw 4 or 5 gators...including a beast 100 yrds from the ramp. Not to mention the snakes...but im sure people do it with no problem...just not for me

Please just don't do what I saw this afternoon IN the channel at St Marks. A guy was pulling his small child on a tube as we came in the channel today at St Marks about 4:30 when EVERYONE else was coming in. He was giving the finger to boats as they passed him but you couldn't see the tube or the child until you were right on them. I hope they made it back safe and they don't ever do that again.....especially not on Memorial Day Weekend when every inexperienced boater is on the water...all at the same time!!

Some idiot threw out a ton of fish carcasses at the ramp. Put my boat in there Thursday to run it and there was a 5'er hanging at the ramp with no fear. I figured it would be a matter of time before a biggun showed up. Place wreaked something awful :smt011

Saw a guy doing the same thing Monday. Pulling two small kids on a tube up the river channel past the lighthouse with boats heading out and throwing wakes on the kids. I was behind him for a little while till I could veer off to the LIghthouse. Kept the other boats off him at least till I pulled away, then they proceeded to pass. What are folks thinking putting their kids in harms way like this? It takes a split second from a boat wake to throw them kids in the river and a few more before someone could run them over. :smt011

Thanks everyone for the advice, this is a great board. I think we are going to try Talquin by the dam this weekend, anyone know the H20 temp?
