Before you buy that alumacraft you ought to give Bainbridge Marine a call. Express aluminum boats has just come out with a redfish model and a flats model. They look pretty sweet. Bainbridge Marine 229-246-9547 ask for Kyle.

Take a look at Sea Ark and Duracraft also, they make some nice aluminum inshore rigs.

It looks nice. Is it better than a G3?

Keep shopping and find one for less than 11k and buy it.

:-D

I've owned two Alumacraft jon boats. Huggins Outboard in Albany sells them. They are built to last. Square ribs instead of round. Very well built. If I ever buy a metal boat again, it'll be a Alumacraft.

I have had an Alumacraft, a Fisher Marine and now a War Eagle. The War Eagle is the best built so far.

I have bounced it off trees in the swamps and in the chop in Tampa Bay and around the Panhandle. She is still tickin'

The Alumacraft was a 15 foot fishing boat with all the carpet and fixed up real nice. They do a fine job on finishing out thier boats.

Little worrysome that you have to call for a price. Pretty decent looking boats though.

Is there an advantage of Aluminum over composite/fiberglass?
