What are the accommodations like at Shell Point any pavilions, fish cleaning, etc?
Last floatilla was a fish and get….I was thinking we could maybe meet up somewhere on the water say around noonish and break bread and tell some lies…What do you think?
That way you can fish as long as you like and still size everyone up

What about the landlubbers, their wives and children ?
I suppose if you do it all close to the shore, they could watch forlornly and wave their handkerchiefs.
Mind you, it ain,t nuffink to do wiv me, I,m a furriner.

There are a few picnic tables scattered around on the public beach, but I imagine that they will get taken up by beach goers. There used to be some bigger pavillions on the marinas property, but I have know idea what shape they would be in now.

Bring your rubbers and wade out to see us, Cran.....
It's a floatilla anyhow, not a landtilla
Meeting for chow will probably be the best chance at a formal gathering.....if we set a land time some would say it's too early or too late..I figured lunch would be good time for a rendezvous....

Well Cran, this gathering is a little different than the Social we had in New Port. This is a Floatilla. Which means a fishing excursion. If you have a seat in your boat available, invite a no-boater.
Chalk mentioned a meeting for chow, then back to fishing. Last one we met at the ramp that morning, everyone went thier seperate ways. Somehow we ended up all fishing the same spot in the St. Marks River by noon time. It was fun to have four or five boats fishing together within talking distance to each other. The best part was we were all catching trout too.

Not sure what all goes on with the floatilla. But as Delmar said.... "Okay, I'm with you fellas".

Floatilla = a bunch of us meeting up and fishing in the same area...No contest, rules or edict (maybe for CSM

)...just act as responsible outdoor people, meet some folks and have a good time..
