Hey Gary, I'm told you are the man to talk to concerning fishing the mounds pools at the LH. Yesterday I left my yak in the truck at the LH Parking lot and road the bike up the road to mounds pool I. Road 10 miles or so back to the truck. Saw some of the best scenery florida has to offer. My question is: Is it worth fishing for reds back there and at what tide, high or low. and off course what area is better than other. around the flood gates look pretty good, or am I wasting my time. I do understand I must share the area with the gators. I lot of gators. Any advise you can share will sure be appreciated. Thank You in advance. JohnPaul

John Paul,
Not quite sure where you went, but email me at gdroze@maclay.org and I'll try to steer you clear of all the mistakes I made in the last 20 years out there.
