Is there anything in particular I should look out for? I've been on the flats south of steinhattchee a couple times and never had a problem. I generally don't run on plane in less than 3 foot of water.

Not really, just had a buddy hit a rock a good ways out from Rocky Creek and I hit one idling between Rocky Creek and the river we both thought we were deep enough to be safe... his bill was $1000 mine was $1500.

Yeah, i ran up in rocky creek during high tide last year. Not a problem, fished a while and low tide hit the night turned out very rough as we made it back in with a tow. I pulled boat back home and had to file a claim and had to get a entirely new lower unit. I was without a boat for a couple weeks but thanks to insurance i was only out a deductible. State farm boat insurance is great.
