I bought a replacement skeg took it to a welding shop and had it welded back on for less money that that stupid skeg guard cost.
. I actually talked to Mr Belamy today and he said he could repair the skeg. Think I'm gonna go that route.

Enjoyed all 3 reports. Nice catch. Sorry about the ding on the skeg. I've been running one like that for years with no problems.

:thumbup: :thumbup: I didn't think that old guy was still in business. He does good work, he's worked on some of our engines. But he does seem to like to fuss a lot! :lol:
