Tsunami Shield Reel/Carbon Shield Rod Review

I will be in the market soon and like trying something different sometimes. I bought a Quantam Smoke a while back, when they were a little less reel and a little more affordable. It is my favorite for trout right now. Took a while to get used to the silent drag, but no big deal.

Looking at the specs, it is a slower retrieve than the Sahara in the 3000 series. What reel would you most compare it to? I think I will try one when I am ready to replace. I am well stocked in the 4000 size.
