CS, I didn't really forget the net. I just didn't take it. I still don't think that's reason enough for a fella to tear the whole left side of my trailer off.

TC, bear with my boy Chalk. You took custody of him when he moved to FL, so you have to deal with destruction of your fishing gear, him showing up in the wrong town for a morning fishing trip, his tall tales of imagined 40" redfish, and his envy when you catch 30" trout.

Work with him and one day he'll be as much fun to fish with for you, as he was for me. I use past tense WAS because he's ruined now, after fishing on your cabin crusier, he won't want to get back in one of my old boats.

CS, I didn't realize I took custody of the boy. I really can't afford the equipment replacement cost that goes with the territory.
I feel there has been some misconception on your part. I don't have a cabin cruiser, just a dinkey little fishin boat. I'm sure Chalk would be proud to accompany you for many days of pleasureable fishing (I'll help pay his expenses). That way, you and I can share his wealth of fishing knowlege (and the dreams that go along with it).
PS- any other information you can provide about the boy, and what I can expect in the future would be much appreciated. He and I plan to fish together in the future and I would like to be better prepared to accomodate the boy (and keep the cost reasonable).

One thing I've already noticed TC, I had him broke from the wig and sundress. Seems your attitude is a little relaxed about his fixation with womens clothing. You'll find on windy days the dang long haired wig, and all the lace on the sundress gets snagged by lures fairly easy. Safety first!! Make him leave that stuff in the truck.
Truth is....he's a pleasure to fish with. (even when he gets frustrated)
