It aint lookin good :smt011 They "apparently"hit something very hard! There is a patch on the bow "not leaking" and the other places have been patched before also "I figure they hit the rock, bounced up, then landed on top of it" :smt013 I was able to use my finger nail to remove about 6 inches of the patch where it's cracked back open :smt010 This may be a prolonged project boat now

Does it have a cap on the hull, or do the sides come up and roll over to make the side tops?

That might make it easier to fix. The only way to for sure fix it is from the inside of the hull. Cut the floor, glass the damage, put the floor back. At least ya don't have a cap to remove. :-?

We was thinkin bout either cutting a small access hole "and putting a hatch there" or just cuting a big square and putting it back in place, then sealing it :smt012 It wouldn't look to pretty the second way, but we'd have room ta work then

The patch needs to be a minimum of 50% over each way....If its a foot long the patch should over hang 6 inches on each end..so make enough room for that...and you will need to grind the area prior to glassing to rough it up a bit...

Doing it right one time is less than doing it cheaply twice...

Ohh yeah both side need to be done, inside and out....

Happy Valentines... :smt060

If it looks like you need any mesh for a large patch, I have a some in different weights. I could bring it to the FF. Let me know  8)
