Good article. Not sure about the comment "it's an offshore shark and doesn't patrol the beaches" Had a 12 ft tiger at the boat in 30 ft of water less than 3 miles off DI a couple of years ago 
Incredible creature, I wonder how old it was.
Even though I am a true hunting, shooting, fishing man, I'm not sure they should have killed it.
