Take it from one of those 5 or six other boats...the weather to the West was not much more suitable. Despite the wind direction, the further East I moved, the further East the menacing clouds moved until I finally ran out of East to run! In the mouth of Aucilla River I hunkered down for the bad stuff to pass and then ran back across to the lighthouse in the only slightly less menacing weather on fumes. I felt very lucky to make it back to the launch.
