:-DI thought about for now just smoothing the area down and painting it. Because it didn't take off the bottom just a chunk out of the front, and I'm worried about it collecting grass and blocking my water intake. Grass cost me a waterpump last year while running back to the landing.

If you're lucky, Wavel will build ya a skeg guard. But I bet you can't get him to work on the motor.

Hey, I hit a rock at marker # 47 in the homasassa river, scared the crap out of me, had just gone that way the day before, no rock, high tide too, then the next day, incomeing, bam, took some metal off , but no damage, more to my heart, took the boat to the dealer, did a check up, ok, but tell you, won't be flying like that again in unknown waters..
