Just placed an order with Cabelas that included about $75 in lures based on the input of this thread. Not sure who makes a Chug Bug, so I'm missing that one. Hope one of these things work :o . Also ordered another reel. My wife ought to be "reel" proud of me when she finds out.

Ron, I believe its Storm Lures that makes Chug-bugs. You can get them at most Wal-Marts.

Add another zero and you would probably have half as much tackle as Tincan... :o

I've mastered the art of subtle tackle procurements....Honey, go to walmart and pickup some clorox.....I come back with a gallon of clorox and two skitterwalks.. :-D

Not even close. But some of my tackle is 30 years old. That's about how long I've been building my collection.:o
What was I supposed to do today?

Added another $50 (in lures) to the bill, plus a Penn reel.

My 18-year old son and two of his buddies want to go, so I'm playing hookie (sp?) for two days and heading down to St. Mark's to fish tomorrow evening and all day Thurs. Staying in a cabin at Shell Island. Hope the keepers are biting.
