A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
The Captains meeting is at Calico Jack's Thursday the 13th. If there are any slots left after that ,yes entries will be accepted at JBT that morning. Entries are limited to 21 teams,2 people per boat. Tackle boxes are supplied. You and your partner are allowed to use only the tackle provided.
MR TD...I have some questions based on the information above and my reading of the rules (below),
Anglers will fish as individuals and not on teams
. Are participants still going to be competing as individuals and not as "partners", or "teams"?
Will a boat (team) of 2 individuals be issued 2 tackle boxes?
Are "teams", "partners" going to be our choice rather than random?
Thanks

All tackle boxes are the same, including spoons. While there are 2 people per boat you compete individually. Only one tackle box per boat.
Rules and specific details are being prepared.
You select your own boat partner. Entry fee is $35.00 per person, this fee includes a one year membership in CCA.
NFGFC points will be awarded to club members. Details of points awarded at Captain's meeting. You do not have to be a NFGFC member to fish.

Registration fee shall be $35.00 per angler. Each angler must register and pay an entry fee. Entry
fee shall include a one-year membership to CCA. Each registration shall include a tackle box with fishing lures.
I think the above captioned rule makes it sound like everyone gets their own box Steve.

I've got a Hunter Ed class to instruct the same evening as the Captain's meeting so I'm not going to be able to save my questions until then. Assuming that I participate, I don't own a digital camera. I do have a SLR.
1. Will I need to have a disposable camera?
2. Are the disposable camera's going to be turned in??
3. Could I turn in the film roll from my SLR?
4. Who will be responsible for developing film?
5. If someone's digital fails to capture a picture, (has happened recently at weigh-in's) what will be the position of the Tournament officials?
6. Can I have someone (rider) with me who is not in the tournament to handle the boat, net, take pictures, etc?
Thanks.

Can we confirm spots here or at the Captain's Meeting only? If here, put Chalk and Tincan down as a team...seems some folks were trying to horn in on my sweetie....
