You can't beat an old fish-n-ski barge, fine flats boats. A friend of mine had one, man that thing was roomy and dry. I told him not to sell it, but he did and now regrets it.

Thanks for comment! I bought a new 19' tunnel model in 87 in Tally and loved it in the water but was a bit much to pull back and forth to coast
so after about 4 years I sold it in a weak moment. I was traveling
and teaching a lot in those days and couldn't justify the upkeep.
When I realized my mistake I went into depression for several years.
Every time I would see one I would walk up and offer to buy it...
most folks thought I wasn't serious but I was. I actually found this
one on Florida Sportsman auction and got it from a really nice guy
in Tally who had rebuilt it with the expertise of the Vaughn family at
Steinhatchee Boat Works.
