TC,I thought you never threw back a bonus fish? SR, you may want to try a different kind of leader the next time you try that. Did you guys climb in the water after the net?

I don't think that qualifies as a "fish".

SR is buying me one of them collapsible nets, and tying it to the boat with a lanyard.

Sounds like a Superb day and an unforgettable fishing trip. I'm not sure how I'd try to get a jig out of a Gator's mouth, and don't think I would try. I am surprised either of you had the frame of mind and judgment to take a picture of the "catch of the day".

Thanks for another colorful story S/R. I'm sure John coulda told it as good, but it was your catch, and your description of the event and his assist was great.
MJ- I kinda with you on the jig thing. I probably would have done the same thing, but then again, I mighta got a 'wild hair' to try to get it out of his mouth jest to see, if I could. 'Been know to do some stupid stuff, and got a few scars to show for it.
And Wevans, I don't know about folks, who cain't keep they gator out of other people's creek.
