Littoral, do you plan on useing a fly rod Sunday?
if so could you possibly suggest some fly's for bass.

Oh, and you thought I was kidding about being able to catch bass, on a fly rod no less. Truth is I do plan to bring my fly rod & I picked up a couple of big poppers that I'll attempt to cast near a log and twitch helpless. That's as much freshwater fly fishing as I've ever done, in my imagination. Sounds good to me though.
My other plan, which I’m giving up as a gesture of good will (but actually a ploy to get someone to tune the idea), is to drive in to Wakulla Beach at first light & net up some fat Gulf Killifish. Their tough as nails in whatever salinity and just look like a fat easy meal. I also considered small bream & the possibility of tossing a net on some baits in the river.
But I guess I’d need some local pro to offer up some advice about that.

Okay, I have been bass fishing on the Wakulla three days this week.
Sunday we put in at Upper Bridge and I caught seven on a chartreuse, 3/8 oz., Snagless Sally.

Tuesday we put in at Upper Bridge, got rained on and, caught a few on a black/yellow, 3/8 oz., Snagless Sally. My Dad picked up a nice 5 lber on a rootbeer DOA Shrimp, above Cherry Island. My nephew Patrick picked up a few on Texas rigged, plastic crawdads.

Wednesday I cheated and we went to the St. Marks above Newport. They were hitting predominately yellow crankbaits. Firetiger was a good color that day, on that river.

Thursday we put in at Lower Bridge and went down. My Mom caught a nice 3 lber on a rootbeer DOA Shrimp. I caught two on a predominately white Fat Free Guppy, shallow running crank, and lost a third one right in front of TnT.

Overall, it's been slow. Of the bass we kept, all had yellow roe, a majority of them had crawdads in their bellies and one had a 6", brown, plastic worm w/hook in her stomach.

My best suggestion is to fish something that looks and acts like a crawdad or shrimp.

What am I going to be using? Live bait, if the wife and kids are with me. That's just what they like to fish with.

Put in at Upper Bridge at 10, took out at 3. I did nothing on crankbaits, Snagless Sallys, Tsunami Jigs or DOA Shrimp. I think earlier in the morning might be better, but tryng to get this crew moving early is like trying to cold start a Yamaha that's missing on one cyclinder.

Patrick went futher down than I did and caught one on a Texas rigged rubber crawdad. He also said he saw a guy catch several big bass on live crawdads fished vertically in deep water.

went out on the river yesterday evening when my last costomer came back about 6:00 cought one on the 3rd cast nice. tide was moving out quick. threw'm back next cast #2 sweet! darn forgot the camera go back to get the camera start another drift, working it slow just down from the first two. I hook up with #3 she was fat and pull'n a little drag
thats a pumkin seed lizard in the cornner of her mouth. seems like the bite could be picking up

This one, almost the same thing happened in almost the same place, late last year. A guy fell overboard and they found his boat circling near the fort.
