Ebay excluded. I'll buy one off the back of hommie's truck if that's an option.

Thank you in advance.
I apologize for taking part in this derailing...

Me too.

Buy the simplest trolling motor that will do what you need. Keep it simple.

I might also add the 3X is very large.

Funny ya'll are talking about that 3x. When we were at the Keaton Tourny and we all floundering around in the canal that morning. We came down the canal with the big motor shut it off when we got to everyone was(looking at JT's boat) I jumped up on the deck and grab the trolling motor on my buddies boat. Well I didn't know it was a 3x, and I like to went in the mud when I first turned it on. :o I don't think anyone other than my partner saw, cuz I'm sure I would still be getting ragged about it.

So I don't know about the quality of them but learning to drive them takes so getting use to.
I got a Digital Motor Guide btw.

I beg to be different...I've got new 80# with 3X and LOVE IT!

I can stand on front deck and lift handle which puts it at my side and
hardly have to turn the motor...took a little getting used to but it
sure is an advantage for me working up creeks...
