Congratulations on 6th Place, great job. Let's start working on the Pensacola, you got a shot at winning the divison. Enjoyed talking with both of you at the tournament and look forward to fishing together soon.

What a big day for us. You've never seen 2 guys more excited about finishing 6th in a fishing tournament. I couldn't be more proud of both of us. We put our time in prefishing (mostly Chalk), we came up with a good plan (mostly Chalk), we executed a good plan, and we altered that plan when necessary to put great fish in the boat (mostly Chalk again).

Chalk covered the details of the prefishing and tourney day fishing pretty well, so I'll just add a little more about our sponsors. First of all, the IFA Redfish Tour is the working man's Tournament series, but having sponsors sure makes it much easier. And we have some great sponsors.

Capital City Bank has gone above and beyond our expectations helping to cover expenses and providing some really great looking shirts. We had many compliments about the shirts over the weekend. CCB had the Peter Mitchell Company do the embroidery on the shirts and they did a great job. A special thanks to Bart Mitchell for putting up with all the phone calls, emails, and alterations we made to the shirts before they went to production.

Grand Panama Beach Resort and Louis Breland assisted us with Tournament fees as well as providing a really nice condo in Panama City Beach for me and my family to stay in over the weekend. It was very special to me to be able to have my family there for the weekend and for them to be able to come to the weigh in.

Dan and Kelly Ausley of Pickett's Landing in Carrabelle, FL and Fincher Smith of Paradise Grill and Bar in Tallahassee, FL assisted us with tournament fees. If you're in Carrabelle, FL I would encourage you to check out Pickett's Landing. They have some really beautiful condos right on the Carrabelle River and right in the heart of some of the best fishing on the Gulf Coast. And of course everyone in Tallahassee knows how great the food and night life is at Paradise Grill and Bar.

I have had a relationship with Challenger Performance Tackle for a couple of years now and I can swear by their fishing rods. They have a great product that is able to stand up to the abuse I give my equipment and I highly recommend them. A special thanks to Bert Wilson of Ferris Bros. for providing Chalk and me with great Challenger fishing rods to get the job done on tournament day.

Another big thanks is owed to Heath Sanders at South Georgia Outdoors. We could not do as much fishing as we do, much less fish the IFA Redfish Tour without the great deals on fishing tackle that Heath and SGO's provide.

Much appreciation is owed to Marty Lutes at Allgood Screenprinting in Thomasville, GA. Marty provided us with some great looking comfortable visors with some awesome embroidery.

Please consider all of these businesses if you have a need in their specific areas. These are all fine people who really have a love for the sport of fishing and I know they will appreciate your business.

Thanks to all the guys that have expressed their congratulations on this forum and all the great phone calls Chalk and I have received. It means a lot to us.

Thanks again Chalk for partnering up with me. We've already exceeded my expectations and whatever happens on the remaining tournaments I'm proud to be on this adventure with you. Navarre Beach is coming up. Start working your magic developing a plan. I'm ready to hit the trail again.

Can't wait til next time.
