Make sure your passwords on your accounts are complex. Use capital letters, numbers and symbols to make it harder to break. I had my Paypal account hacked a couple of years ago and they tried to get me for $2000. Luckily, Paypal caught it and I was able to get PAB to stop payment. They were really on top of things at the bank for me. Good luck!

Lot of good advise above. Wat bullhound sez about passwords is particularly good.
I've been running the 'free home edition Avast anti-virus' on my wifes work computers for several years without problems.. It updates near daily and runs seamlessly.
I don't run any a/v on my personal computers, so have to be careful what I click on and I never open mail from anyone I don't know, and very few attachments to mail from those I do know. That and I use yahoo/aol mail rather than ms OE.
