I used 5200 in the holes when I mounted the engine on my riverhawk per the manufacturer

... what size motor is that and what did you use on the transome to "jack" up the motor?

Thanks, The guy I bought the Gheenoe from fabricated it out of aluminum, it slip's over the transom and bolts on. The motor is a 8hp 4 stroke.

Having never sat in a gheenoe, how stable will it be standing on the two decks? I just picture my canoeing days and think it would be like a surf board!

I know they are more stable than that and was curious.
